The Center for Performing Arts is located only three blocks south of the heart of downtown Rapid City, where there are numerous dining options before and after the shows.
Smoking or use of any tobacco products is prohibited in the Performing Arts Center and on School grounds
All evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m., with matinees beginning at 2:00 p.m. The lobby is open one hour before the show, and the house will begin seating audience members one half an hour before showtime.
Photography and Filming
There is absolutely no photography or filming of any kind allowed during performances. This is in strict accordance with rules given to us by the playwrights, publishing companies and various performers unions
There is no specific dress code for Black Hills Community Theater. Choices range from casual to dressy, but we’re more concerned that you are in attendance than what you wear.
